Sculpture, a passion that becomes art

I was born in Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the Dolomites, where I obtained my diploma at the Art Institute. I moved to Florence, where I still live, to study Restauration of Ancient Wood and I worked in local ateliers to broaden my knowledge of the techniques of restauration, gilding and wood carving.

I took part to the International Home Show Macef in Milan in 2010, with art works and interior design objects, and I also exhibited at the international exhibition ART Innsbruck and the Biennial of Visual Art in Paris.

I won the prize Fiorino d’Oro at the International Competition XXV Premio Firenze in 2007, the First Absolute Prize at the National Competition in Montecatini Terme in 2009 and the Premio Italia in 2007 and 2008.

I teach wood carving, I work in the field of restauration and I make sculptures and interior design objects.

When I was a kid I thought I had been found under a tree, as a song that my father dedicated to me used to say. Perhaps this is why I have always had a great passion for forests, the place where I get the inspiration for my creations and in which I pick the woods that I transform into sculptures. In the forest, I feel happy and free from any thought.
